We have drawn up this privacy policy to explain to you, in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act, what information we collect, how we use the data collected and what choices you have as a visitor to this website.

AUTOMATIC DATA STORAGE

When you visit our website, our web server, a computer on which this website is stored, automatically saves the following data:

  1. the host name and IP address of the device from which access is made
  2. Date and time
  3. The address of the website accessed
  4. The address of the previously visited page (referrer URL)
  5. the operating system used
  6. the browser used and the browser version

These data are technical logs of access to our website and are stored in the web server log files for about 2 weeks and then automatically deleted. We do not pass on this data, but we cannot rule out the possibility that this data may be viewed by us or the authorities in the event of unlawful behavior in order to simplify criminal prosecution.

The legal basis for our actions in accordance with Article 6 (1f) GDPR is that we have a legitimate interest in enabling the error-free and secure operation of our website by collecting web server log files. These log files help us to further improve and secure our website by analyzing errors and attacks.

STORAGE OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data that you transmit to us via contact forms on this website will only be used for the stated purpose. This data includes, for example: Name, e-mail address, address, project budget or other personal details as part of the submission of a form will only be used by us together with the date, time and IP address for the purpose stated in each case, stored securely and not passed on to third parties.

We only use your data for the stated purpose. For example, to communicate with you because you are a visitor who expressly wishes to be contacted and to process the services and products offered on this website.

We do not pass on your personal data without your consent, but we cannot rule out the possibility that this data may be viewed by the authorities in the course of investigations or in the event of unlawful conduct.

If you contact us using the form on the website or by e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for the purpose of processing the inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions until the inquiry is closed. We will consider your request to have ended when your actions – for example, refusal of an offer without interest in an alternative offer – indicate that your interest has expired. We use a contract data processor to operate our e-mail addresses. Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited and we take the protection of your data seriously and therefore encrypt all data carriers on which your data is stored. The transmission between the server of Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited and our end devices is also encrypted via TLS, a current encryption standard, without exception. Your data is stored exclusively on European servers and our end devices and is not passed on to third parties.

TLS ENCRYPTION WITH THE HTTPS PROTOCOL

We use the Hyper-Text-Transfer-Protocol-Secure, i.e. HTTPS, to transmit data tap-proof on the Internet (in accordance with the Privacy by Design principle of Article 25 (1) GDPR). By using HTTPS, a widely used encryption protocol for secure data transmission on the Internet, we can ensure the protection of confidential data. You can recognize the use of this data transmission security by the small lock symbol at the top left of the browser and the use of the https scheme (instead of http) as part of our Internet address. It is not possible to access our website via http, i.e. without encryption, in order to prevent users from unintentionally transmitting data without encryption.

ANALYTICS

In order to continuously improve our website, we use anonymized analytics tools that do not transfer data to third parties. Data such as session duration, country of access, websites accessed and similar anonymous data are stored.

COOKIES

We use cookies to store user-specific data. A cookie is a small data package that is exchanged between the web browser and the web server and only becomes meaningful for the web application, for example an online store. For example, the contents of a virtual shopping cart.

There are two types of cookies: first-party cookies, which are created by our website, and third-party cookies, which are created by other websites (e.g. Google Analytics or Typekit).

These are further divided into two categories: necessary cookies for the proper operation of the website and cookies that are used to improve the user experience and for marketing purposes.

VIMEO

Vimeo is a US-based video service that is self-certified under the Privacy Shield of the US Department of Commerce. This video service is necessary to provide certain content on this website. It is our legitimate interest pursuant to Art. 6 para. 1 p. 1 lit. f GDPR that the number of playbacks, viewing time and other data are collected in order to continuously improve our website. Furthermore, cookies are set by Vimeo through the embedded Vimeo player, which are essential for the use of the player and do not serve any advertising purposes on our part, Vimeo’s or third parties.

TESTING TOOLS

As part of the operation of our website, you may be shown different versions of the same page. This changing of the display happens purely by means of a counter and does not use cookies or IP address storage to provide this service. During testing, data is also collected about the time you spend on the site, the bounce rate and the click rate (i.e. the implementation of the response we hope you will make), but this data is only stored in anonymized form. This data is not passed on to contract data processors.

YOUR RIGHTS

In principle, you have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been violated in any other way, you can complain to the supervisory authority.
